On a typical day, more than 100 yachts stay in the Admirality Bay on Bequia ("Bequé"). Here we meet a different public than the on in Brasil: masses of charter yachts. It reminds us of our own honeymoon, when we sailed to Bequia in a small charter yacht.
Anahita at a mooring buoy right in front of the Frangipani Hotel (the hotel is owned by a former Prime Minister of St. Vincent). The inner part of the Admirality Bay is crowded by mooring tons, making it hard to anchor. Our buoy belongs to a local with the telling name "Phat Shag".

Young turtles are taken care of in the Oldhegg Turtle Sanctuary. At the tender age of five, they are set free again. The idea is to increase the survival rate from 1/3'000 to 1/3, thereby contributing to the recovery of the total population. While the theory is compelling, not even Max was able to empirically verify the maths that go with it.
